Delete your Body Forge account and data
How to request account and data deletion
Body Forge is local-first: most of your fitness and nutrition data stays on your device. Deleting data on your phone and requesting removal of server-side records are separate steps.
To delete server-side data (Google Sign-In linking, ForgeClub entitlements, or other records we hold about your account), email:
We process deletion requests manually within 30 days. We do not offer an automated self-service deletion portal on this website.
Delete data on your device
Workouts, food diary, progress photos, settings, and AI coach history are stored locally on your phone unless you use a feature that sends data to a third party (described in our Privacy Policy).
Primary method: open Body Forge → Settings → Data → Reset local app data. This deletes locally stored app data (including your Google Sign-In session) and returns you to setup.
Other options on your device:
- Settings → Data → Reset Progress — clears logs and history while keeping profile, settings, and plans.
- Sign out of Google in Settings — clears the local Google session without deleting other app data.
- Uninstall the app — removes all local data from your device.
Because this data is stored on your device, we cannot delete it remotely. Use the steps above before or after contacting us about server-side records.
Server-side data (Google Sign-In, ForgeClub, BodyForge Pro)
If you have used optional cloud-linked features, we may hold limited records on our servers:
- Google Sign-In — when you sign in, we associate your Google user ID with subscription verification (via RevenueCat) and ForgeClub access.
- ForgeClub — if you redeemed an access code, our server stores entitlement status (active/expired, code type, expiry) linked to your Google user ID.
- Website tester waitlist — if you joined the Android tester list on fueltheforge.app, we store your email on our server to contact you about testing access.
- BodyForge Pro — subscription and purchase status is verified through Google Play and RevenueCat; we do not store your payment card details.
To request deletion of server-side records tied to your Google account or waitlist email, email support@fueltheforge.app. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days.
What to include in your email
Send your request from the Google account email you used in Body Forge (if applicable). Include:
- The Google account email address you used to sign in to Body Forge.
- Whether you want all server-side data deleted, ForgeClub entitlement data only, or waitlist records only.
- Any relevant context (for example, you uninstalled the app or no longer need ForgeClub access).

What gets deleted
When we process your request, we delete or disassociate server-side records we control, including:
- ForgeClub entitlement and linking — access records tied to your Google user ID on our API (
bodyforge.onrender.com). - Website tester waitlist — email signup records stored on our API (
bodyforge.onrender.com). - Account linking data we hold for Google Sign-In and ForgeClub on our servers.
Local app data on your device is removed only when you use Reset local app data, sign out, or uninstall, as described above.
What may be retained
As described in our Privacy Policy, we may retain certain information for a limited time where necessary for:
- Security and fraud prevention
- Billing and entitlement verification disputes
- Legal, regulatory, or tax obligations
- Short-term operational server logs from our hosting provider
Google Play and RevenueCat retain purchase and subscription records under their own policies. We do not control deletion of Google Play purchase history.
If you used cloud AI features (including via our server proxy in production builds), retention by OpenAI is governed by OpenAI's policies (see Privacy Policy).
Subscriptions (BodyForge Pro)
Deleting app data or requesting account deletion does not cancel an active BodyForge Pro subscription.
Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play:
- Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Body Forge → Cancel, or
- Manage subscriptions for app.fueltheforge
Google Play Billing processes all payments. Refunds and billing questions are subject to Google Play policies.
